Mosquitoes. No one likes being bitten by them. Because no one likes mosquitoes, people started to spray to kill them. The problem is that people think that they are only spraying mosquitoes, but the truth is, they are spraying much more. When someone sprays chemicals, it is very hard to contain the area that you are spraying. Because of improper containment, chemicals eventually end up being harmful to the environment.

Some examples of chemicals being harmful to the environment are: crop devastation, tainted water sources, and the devastation of biodiversity in an area. In order to prevent these major issues, we must either invent a more efficient and eco-friendly way to get rid of mosquitos or only spray certain species of mosquitoes.

There are approximately 2,700 species of mosquito in the world; the three most significant genera are the Aedes, Anopheles, and Culex, as these types of mosquitoes are responsible for transmitting various diseases that are hazardous to mankind. Before spraying, we should determine which kind of species to spray for.
