Mosquitoes are the most dangerous pests on Earth and they pose more of a threat than we think. Mosquitoes, on average, kill 725,000 people each year, which is almost fifteen times more than the second leading killer, dogs. The reason mosquitoes can be so dangerous is because they carry very deadly and severe diseases. There are over 3,000 species of mosquitoes worldwide, almost all carrying diseases.

One of the more common ways for a mosquito to contract these viruses, is through the birth of their children. Before a female mosquito can produce eggs, she must intake a small amount of blood to help the eggs develop. Most commonly, she will choose to bite a bird or mammal and once she sinks her proboscis in the animals skin, diseases and viruses tend to follow and be transported. Some of the most noticeable diseases mosquitoes spread are: Yellow Fever, Malaria, West Nile Virus, Zika Fever, etc.
